The Short Film is one of the most underrated and least viewed art forms.
The Short Film is not a cheap or cut-down feature film, it is a medium in its own right, encompassing animation, cartoon, experimention, music, mixed-media and live action.
Watching films on the Internet is usually an unsatisfactory experience as the films are often viewed close-up on a computer screen or laptop and often in between other activites.
By far the best way to enjoy a film is to sit back in a theatre and let someone else prepare the programme.
Is there such a thing as a website that allows people to compile programmes of short films for viewing with guests at home, in a local art house, cinema, gallery or even down at the pub?
Such a website would have to allow registered users to compile projection-quality sequenced playlists of specific kinds of film. It would require a highly refined search facility.
Does such a site already exist?
If not, what would it take to set up?
